Our address is odd. If you’re driving an ambulance and wanted to find us, our address would be 2512 Lacey Lake Road, Charlotte, Michigan. But, if you wanted to mail us something, like a check or birthday cards, the Postmaster says we have to use 2512 Kleinfelt Drive, Bellevue, Michigan.

This address weirdness happen when my neighbor, Duane Grey, needed an ambulance and they couldn’t find Kleinfelt Drive. Well, Duane passed away, and the 911 dispatch people were very upset and said we had to use Lacey Lake Road as our addresses from now on.

However, the Postmaster, up in Grand Rapids, still insists we use Kleinfelt Drive for mailing purposes. I don’t know what would happen if the ambulance drivers wanted to mail us something, or if the Postmaster visited us and needed an ambulance...
